Mexico’s Ebrard says government is in ‘intensive’ talks with US ahead of tariff deadline

MEXICO CITY – Mexico’s Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Thursday his government was having intensive talks with the United States over Washington’s threats to impose tariffs on goods from its No. 1 trade partner by April 2.
