US charges Russian TV contributor Dimitri Simes with sanctions violations

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Justice Department on Thursday said it had charged Virginia-based Russian television contributor Dimitri Simes and his wife Anastasia Simes with two separate schemes to violate U.S. sanctions.
