Phobias can be really tough going for those of us that carry them. Flying and Heights are particularly difficult.
Know one really ever understands or grasps what it’s like to live with a phobia and worst yet, push through it.
Sometimes you can second guess yourself and say it’s just me being silly, I don’t really have a phobia. You can try to convince yourself that you shouldn’t admit you have a phobia because then your trying to make yourself have a phobia.
Whatever it is, this is all part of the phobia in your mind. The anxiety you are facing twists and distorts reality and your ideas relating to your fear making you unclear.
“Fear is the mind killer” it really is, fear is what stops us from doing a lot of things. “The greatest challenge is to overcome oneself.” It’s worth thinking about these two profound statements in more depth.
I also like to think that whatever obstacles I face in life they are really a challenge of myself. The good news is you can overcome any of your fears with a big heart!
